The group behind Hello Oriental has announced plans for the opening of a huge new 3 floor market hall and dining spot. The new venue will be based in Symphony Park in the heart of Circle Square, which is expected to be open later this year. Hello Oriental will be open daily from 10am to 11pm, and with DJs and live music, it is expected to become the newest place to be in the city for good food and good times. The inspiration behind the Asian food hall is said to be Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall in London and 1-800-Lucky in Miami, and if it’s anything like them then we predict it will be as popular as it’s neighbouring creative and streetfood space Hatch.
When discussing the new opening, the director of Hello Oriental, Azim Kourah, said: “We’ve always had one goal – to bring the finest oriental food to the people of Manchester to enjoy. Moving to the city’s newest, fast growing neighbourhood enables us to reach new audiences through an original concept and delivered with the same exceptional levels of quality and service we’re famous for.”
The venue’s focal point will be a market hall that will serve everything from Chinese roast meats and dim sum to East Asian street food and will be joined by a Chinese bakery and supermarket.
Hello Oriental owner, Ricky Yip, has expressed his excitement: “We can’t wait to launch Hello Oriental this year and we’re confident that our new market hall experience will be a place for food-lovers of all backgrounds to come together, socialise and enjoy the very best Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine.”
