In 2025, a new attraction will open in Manchester, offering locals and tourists alike a unique experience – the Therme artificial beach and waterpark. Based in Trafford City, just a few miles outside of the city centre, the Therme artificial beach and waterpark are set to be a world-class attraction, spanning over 28 acres of land. This mammoth project is being designed by a team of architects, engineers, and designers, who have combined their expertise to create a space that will offer visitors a complete sensory experience.
One of the standout features of the Therme artificial beach and waterpark will be the enormous artificial lagoon. The lagoon will cover an area of 10,000 square meters and will be surrounded by white sandy beaches, palm trees, and other tropical flora. The water will be heated to a comfortable temperature, allowing visitors to swim, paddle or relax in the sunshine – even when it’s pouring with rain outside (which let’s be honest, will be most of the time. It’s Manchester).
The Therme artificial beach and waterpark will also offer a range of other activities, including water slides, a lazy river, and an indoor wave pool. For those who prefer a more tranquil experience, the park will have various saunas and steam rooms, as well as relaxation areas.
