Some of the best Halloween events in Manchester this October:

Put on your fancy dress and head down to Scare Skate Manchester

We know ice skating is generally reserved for the festive Christmas season, but why shouldn’t we make it a Halloween activity as well? Thankfully, Scare Skate Manchester are on board with this plan too!

There will be Halloween-themed ice skating located at Manchester Cathedral gardens, as well as food and drink stalls so skaters can grab a warm drink and something toasty after showing off their skills on the ice.

So why not put on your skates and join the Halloween dance party along with your best fancy dress and head down to the skating rink for some spooky thrills?

Ice Skating is great fun for all the family, and with Halloween events happening all over Manchester, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained this October.

Pumpkin Picking

It wouldn’t be Halloween without a day trip to your nearest pumpkin patch with all the family, where you can pick your very own pumpkin and when you get home, why not have a pumpkin party and throw a pumpkin carving competition?

Obviously, depending on where you live may depend on what farm is most convenient for you! We’ll let you be the judge of that; however, here is a couple we recommend.

Visit Kenyon Hall Farm near Manchester for their pumpkin festival. It’s a little further out of Manchester but definitely one of the Halloween events that’s worth the drive. Be quick, though. Tickets tend to sell out early for this one.

A little closer to home for our Mancunian natives, Brookhey’s Farm in Altrimchan are hosting pumpkin picking events every weekend of October. And the best part? No booking is required! Once you’ve picked your pumpkins to take home, you can make a day of it and visit all the animals at the farm. A great day out for all the family!

Forget a spooky sweet hunt; experience terror like never before

Looking for something a little… spookier this October? How about the ultimate Halloween fright night? Does the world’s longest outdoor horror attraction sound scary enough for you? This Halloween event puts your average haunted house to shame. Scare City will have you experiencing terror like never before during a 2km trail around the abandoned Camelot theme park, sectioned into zones with terrifying names such as Satanic Panic, The Forest of Fears, and Knightmare Alley.

Scare City is not to be missed this October, with tickets from £20pp. Just don’t blame us when you have nightmares for the rest of the year!

Manchester Warehouse Project

What better way to celebrate Halloween than to dance the night away at the infamous Manchester Warehouse Project? a Halloween party like no other! Sadly, the iconic Halloween event is already sold-out this year, but fear not!

We have a pair of tickets up for grabs, and they could be yours. Check out our Instagram in the coming days for your chance to win your way into the most exclusive Halloween festival. Experience headliner DJs Annie Mac and Patrick Topping live in the flesh, and don’t forget your fake blood!

Giant spooky Halloween Friends!

Keep your eyes peeled in Manchester this Halloween for the annual creepy giant rooftop monster invasion, where monsters will make their annual appearance around the city’s streets and appear on landmarks around Manchester this October.

Many people will take part in the monstrous photo trail, becoming monster hunters over the Halloween weekend.

There will be plenty of Halloween decorations and themed Halloween events taking place throughout Manchester, so there’s sure to be something for everyone!
